Mike has decided to go into Internal Medicine, and is currently interviewing for residency positions. In about three months we will know where Mike has been accepted for his residency. I have to be honest, it's such an exciting time for us. It's scary but thrilling to know a change is coming in our near future, and not having any idea where that change will take us.
So where will that change take us? Will it be...

I am rooting for Sacramento! Ryan and I lived there for two fantastic years... you would love it and I would only be 2 hours away! Yippeee!
Laura! How are you? I cannot even believe that you guys are done and soon to start residency! How exciting! Keep me posted. I personally was rooting for Columbus, but didn't see it on there!! :)
those are all great places. I would go for either Portland, Phoenix or Tucson. I would love it if you moved to Phoenix. Our neighbor is in her second year at Phoenix Baptist and she really likes it
chicago.. of course but if not, i would say SLC b/c i know how much you both love it there! are you there now??

It really is awesome here. Especially northern Colorado. I don't think that Mike would mind the commute and we would play all the time.
How long does the residency last?
I say be adventurous, you can always return to your roots, but you'll never know what your missing until you give it a try.
Choose a fun place to visit, that way everyone will come see you.

Definately any of the California options!! I love that everyone is telling you to go to the place that is close to them. It means that we all love you and would love to have you near us!!
Oh course Portland, than we could see you here and there! Way to go Mike on school. You'd love the weather too, as long as you don't mind a little rain here and then. It sure is beautiful!
i of ousre would love it if you were here in the good old SLC, but anywhere within driving of 8 hours or so is fine with me. my 2nd choice of ryou would b denver, we really liked it there when we visited last April, nice place. i know that wherever you end up, it will be where you are supposed to be, and a nice, fresh start. love you, and can we hang out on saturday or what?
oh, that word was course - not ousre, and then i also meant to say , "for you" not of ryou. and then b is to be "be". i am sorry, i really need to proof read my stuff! but you still love me.

Laura - it's me Lili Smith...definitely a blast from the past! My hubby is doing internal medicine in Tucson and he loves it - so I think you should come down here! The weather is AMAZING - sunny and blue skies almost everyday. It will be a nice change from Chicago! :-) Keep us posted!
