A BOLD move

So I went shopping at H&M last night. I went a little crazy with the shopping. I ended up buying this dress. I don't own anything like it. I usually go for the simple, safe outfit. Last night I went bold and bought this green patterned dress. I know it's totally different, but I love it! I can't wait for it to be warm so I can wear it!

So spring break has finally arrived. YAY! Today was a very beautiful, sunny day. It was actually in the 70's, which is pretty unusual for Chicago this time of year. And of course, I'm feeling sick. I haven't been sick, once this school year! I've felt great. Now, when spring break comes and the weather is gorgeous, I feel horrible. How classic.

Recently Mike and I decided we needed to find a hobby together to strengthen our marriage. We decided to take dance lessons. This is a copy of our first performance. Let us know what you think of our dancing skills.

Our AWESOME kitchen

This is our lovely kitchen. It's so old.


Our cabinets are yellowish/brown stained wood, with handles that have pink roses on them. Very pretty.
Even though we "love" our kitchen, our landlord just told us he wanted to redo the kitchen for us. Yay! He said he wants to give us new cabinets, sink and counter tops. Mike and I are very excited!

Our ghetto fabulous townhouse

This is a picture of our ghetto fabulous townhouse. Please don't mind the large, oversize dead plant infront of our place. When we first moved in last July, that plant was very small; we thought nothing of it. But the plant has continued to grow and has become quite a beast. We think it adds character to the place.

A New Experiment

So I've totally been against making a blog. We don't have kids, our lives are so routine, and most people who care what is going on in my life, I talk to on a continually basis. However, after reading so many fasinating blogs, I myself have been sucked into making one of my own.
