Mother Nature was calling

My mom and I decided to go hiking. We wanted to hike to Cecret Lake (the spelling is actually correct) but ran into this:So we decided to hike Catherine Pass instead. This is what the trail looked like as we
began hiking: By the end of the hike, this is what we saw:

It's too bad the photographs don't capture the true beauty of the scenery we saw.

Remember when you could talk like a moose? Unfortunately, we didn't try that yesterday. Anyway, thanks for a great hike!

I love the moose that live at cecret lake, they are like deers. They are so used to people they aren't even dangerous. I swear I got close enough to pet them once.
Your hike looks fabulous. I can't wait until you come to Colorado. :)

Crazy!!! Moose freak me out. They get stuck in our swing set occasionally and boy can they thrash. And don't believe Sarah and her petting story.... she lies

I lie! You are the one has people taking your picture while you are camping by yourself...Nick still talks about that.
And I think Laura knows who the more truthful friend is. Don't you Laura? I did get close enough to pet them. I DID!

tu-shay, tu-shay...you win (I don't even know what language that is, but you get the jist)
And Laura, sorry your blog has turned into our trash-talking page.

Sarah, I must admit, I could see how you could get to close to the moose at Cecret Lake and actually pet it. Why you would ever be stupid enough to get that close to a moose is beyond me. Lauren, I have not heard about you camping by yourself and taking pictures, but it sounds like a great story. I would love to hear. No more trash talking, you are both HOT DOGS!
