Once graduation was over for Mike, and I finished teaching school we left for Utah. (Seriously the last day of school for me, we started driving to Utah, let's just say it was one emotional car ride!) It was so sad to say goodbye to all of my school friends, but it was nice to know we were headed to a place where we had family and friends waiting our arrival!

180.5 miles from Logan to Park City! You run the distance with a team made up of 12 people. The race is split up into 36 different sections, so each runner on each team runs 3 different sections. Make sense? I ran it with 11 of my most favorite people! Although it was extremely difficult because of terrain and lack of sleep, I would do it again in a heart beat!

These are pictures of me running. I had so much fun with the people in my car, but unfortunately our car had some injured people. Poor Amanda, Lacey and Kate. You guys were troopers. I ended up running 18.5 miles of the distance. After running I was amazed at what a person's body can do.
Mikey came to watch our team finish together. He's the greatest.
My favorite part of the race was when we met up with the rest of the team to run in the last hundred yards together. This was most of the team. We missed the other girls who had to go home early!
Thanks girls for the adventurous 2 days! Let's do again next year!

i am so proud of you and your friends! you set a goal and totally stuck to it, that is so amazing - and almost of unheard of it seems - it is always easy to quit and backout- but you guys didn't! you are such an example to me. love you sis!
Absolutely LOVE this race. Isn't it so fun?? I'm so glad you were able to do it and I'm sure you trashed all the other teams. What leg were you? I did the first leg last year and I think I ended up doing 19 miles or so.. needless to say, with the mileage, no sleep, and the heat, it's exhaustingly adventurous, eh? BTW-- totally great about mike's graduation!! Huge accomplishment!
June did go by really fast!!!! I can't believe it is July already. I have been so looking forward to go to Florida and Disney World and we are leaving on Friday!!! Your Switchback thing looks really cool!!!! I need to find friends who run. Congrats on 18 miles!!!!! :)
You are a stud. Mike and graduation have nothing on a hot, athletic, , beautiful wife. We miss you guys. Okay now that I think about it, maybe medical school graduation is something to be proud of. :) Congrats to both of you.
You rocked that race.... Thanks for being car Captain, and filling in. Cant wait to hear more about it at the BBQ. Would you really do it again in a heartbeat or are you just saying that:)
