Oooo, fun! I have never heard of this site. Chad is totally not an outdoorsy person, I am way more than he is...which means, unfortunately, we don't end up doing that much outdoorsy stuff. :( I love everything Patagonia, North Face, Nalgene. Love it.
I am reading The Three Willows right now and one of the characters has to go on a hiking/climbing trip that she earned a scholarship for and she talks about GORP. I used to go climbing all the time at Devil's Lake in Wisconsin when I was in high school. I so miss hanging out on the side of a "mountain" (as mountainy as you can get in Wisconsin!) and eating GORP. Yum!
oh lar, i just went to the site and they were selling a cooler called a "chilli bin" something or other. Anyway i was reading a review and some idiot actually put chili into it because they thought it would keep it warm. they were complaining that it was cold after 2 hours of hiking, oh man, the poor fool who took the word chilli to literally mean chili the food. sorry i just thought that was really funny, and had to share it with you.
