There are a few things I AM NOT LOVIN these days....
Mike's overnight shifts, two weeks in a row. Yuk.
Someone deciding to wake up between 4:00 a.m-6:00a.m. What happened to sleeping through the night? She was doing so well! (Seriously not lovin this one)
Between the hours of 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. all someone wants, is be in their mom's arms. Sounds sweet but really is quite inconvenient when you are trying to make dinner for someone who is leaving for their work shift and won't be home until the following day.
I DO however LOVE....
When this little ripper wakes up she has awesome bed head. Her hair sticks straight up and I think it's so darling. Her hair is getting so long, it's starting to hang down over her ears, and in the morning it just kinda poofs out. Click on any of the pictures below to see just how crazy her hair is.
I also love that when she wakes up, she wakes up with a smile on her face. I hear in her room ohhing and ahhing. Much better to wake up to than sad crying.

I love how when Charlotte and I go running she peaks up over the stroller and gives me the biggest smile, it's like she playing peek a boo. She just laughs and laughs when I look at her and smile. Seriously it makes pushing that huge jogger stroller worth it.

I love good friends who know just what I need. For example, homemade cupcakes and the nicest card on days when the "baby blues" seem to hit the hardest. Or getting the most thoughtful card, coolest ring and fabulous picture from one of my most favorite people who lives way too far away. Or a friend just allowing me to call them and ask them lots and lots of questions, helping me to feel better, knowing that I'm not alone with how I feel and allowing me to take up most of their afternoon.
Can you tell I'm working on my WORD and trying to find the silver lining these days? It's not always easy to do but it sure makes for a happier, better day! What are you lovin these days?

That was fun catching up on your blog...Charlotte is super cute...can't wait to meet her in person next week. We are coming to Utah and I think and hope we will get to see you at some point. You have to tell me how to make pictures different layouts like your cute little collage or three across in that family shoot. I need help? You are super mom and lookin pretty dang good these days....xoxo

I think it's easy to always grumble about phases of our children that we dislike, but then again, there's always way more about them to love. thanks for shifting the focus to the good. I think that's how all mothers survive!You're awesome.
