Mike and I signed up for a social dance class and tonight was our first time. The class did not disappoint. Although we were the youngest couple we instantly bonded with the couples around us. Don't you worry by the end of April we will be dancing pros ready to make an appearance on Dancing with the Stars. Ok probably not, but we did have a great time and can't wait to go back.
Ladies you have got to get your hubbies to do this. It was such a blast!

um ok, totally jealous beyond belief. i have been wanting to take some sort of dance class with russ and he is absolutely not interested. i keep threatening him that i will go by myself and find a partner with large muscles and long greasy hair (you know the type?) to make him jealous. oh man keep me posted on how the classes are. . . so jealous!
So jealous! Eric and I have talked about doing that. Maybe you guys could teach us a thing or to when you come to Utah!
i thought that was an april fools joke, but i guess not. good for you, no, GOOD FOR MIKE. i think most of us are envious because our husbands are too stubborn! i would love to swing dance with lance, and believe it or not, i was good in my day! love you, move home soon!

Love it!!! Where are you taking classes? At the place at Hawthorn Mall??? Chad and I have seen that and wondered if people actually take classes there. We took social dance as a class in college. It was a required class for Chad and an elective for me.
I'll never forget when we learned the waltz and the teacher wanted us to pivot. All I could think of was the Friends episode when they are trying to move a couch down a NY city stairwell and Ross is about to pop a vein in his forehead yelling, "PIVOT!" I thought it was fun, Chad was not happy, because he was so worried about getting a good grade in the class.
It's fun to be able to dance at weddings! And, there's definitely something to say about a guy who can dance!
That is so great! I told Mike we should do that and he laughed at me- he is lame. Well have fun and tell your Mike that he is a good man for doing that with you! PS- I have a big smiley face on my calendar on a certain day in June- I think you know what day that is.
