For the sister who lives WAY TOO FAR AWAY!!!!!

Because they asked:
This is for you MANDY, Beves, Liz C. my sweet Aunts, Bobbi and Patti. I wish you all weren't so far away.

Baby Walker's room is coming together and I LOVE IT. It's VERY bright and different but Mike and I couldn't be happier with how it's turned out thus far.
I finished the birdie mobile I was working on. I had to revamp the project when the hangers I was going to use to hang the birds from weren't cooperating. But I'm very pleased with the finished project. Thanks to Spool Sewing and Spearmint Baby who provided the inspiration for the mobile. Man I love the blogging community.

Her beautiful bedding. Thank you Land of Nod. I love all the color and detail.

Bookcase/toy shelf. Pictures to hang on the wall to come later. One project at a time.

A few up close details.

The comfy corner where I'm sure many, many hours will be spent.
Dresser/changing table. I love the sleek, straight lines.
My most recent project. It's amazing what a few canvases and stickers will do. We'll hang them up on the wall at some point.
There you go.
Baby Walker's room.
Still not done but we're making good progress.
Mike and I seriously love it.
We go and just sit in there all the time.
We are nerds.

So sweet. I love the green color, it's bright and cheerful and will go with anything. Good choice.
I think our little present will fit right in, if I ever finish it!

LOVE IT! The green is awesome. I love all the colors and then the white furniture. So sweet. Your projects have turned out really great. Isn't it so much fun planning and getting ready for baby to come home? I remember sitting in Jordan's room in the glider when I was pregnant and just enjoying the anticipation of knowing he would be there soon.

Who me?

Thank you for making my dreams come true and posting pics of your darling babie's room. You guys have done an awesome job.

LOVE the canvases. May have to copy you on that one.

Kudos too on the bird mobile my crafty sister. Now all it needs is little Mandy to sleep in her crib.

I have sat in all my kids' rooms before they were born. It's good karma.

I love it Laura! You are so talented and it looks like you are quite the sewer already. I am hoping to find out what we're having this week at my appointment so I can start planning our nursery. I can't wait to see the additional updates!

Green is my favorite color (I'm am wearing it right now actually) and so are simple details like the ones you added to the baby's room. So fun and unique and simple. Land of Nod is the best, by the way.
I'll have to come see it in person come December!
