I have a lot of pride when it comes to my family, in laws included. I'm biased but I think I have the greatest family. Today is my sister's Katherine's 30th birthday. Many of you blog readers know this sister and know how wonderful she is. You may know her through her many talents including her photography, and ability to design and create pretty little things for women. I'm one lucky girl to have this sister to look up and strive to be like. So in honor of her 30th birthday I emailed friends and family to name 30 things we love about Katherine.

i am up too late, blogging and thinking about my 30 years, and i decide, right before i go to bed, to check your blog - not even thinking there would be an update (because, let's be honest, your updating lately . . . JK) but i was stopped when i saw my face in your post, then started reading such kinds words from people i hold dear. then i (of course) started crying, and crying some more, and laughing through my tears.

this makes me so sad that i don't have a sister. i am so jealous that you have three! and three as great as you do. katherine truely is a friend to everyone. even if you don't know her that well you feel like she really really likes you and cares about you. i've always looked up to katherine, and thought she was downright GORGEOUS.

I know someone who was given the name of "super friend" a long time ago. I think it speaks for itself, that name, but this person was kind to all, unselfish, thoughtful, fun, never hurtful, and always full of love for everyone. I haven't known Katherine very long, but she is already a "super friend" in my mind. I love being able to connect with someone and create an amazing friendship! I love Katherine and am so thankful to know her!

Katherine, I don't really know you very well, just from high school and what I read in your blog. But just from the words you post and the millions of comments you get from all of your friends I can tell you are a very selfless, spiritual and honest person. You are a great example to me and honestly it brings tears to my eyes just thinking about how great you are! I hope you had a great birthday!
Katherine is one of my oldest friends (not old as in old, old but old as in longest and dearest). She has always been so thoughtful and so sincere. Whenever I talk to Katherine I feel like we never lost touch, we always pick up where we left off (Katherine, you are my favorite person to run into unexpectedly!). It has been so fun to know Katherine as a 6 year old and now as a wife and mother (amazing at both!). Happy 30th Birthday to one of my oldest and sweetest friends!
