I love all sides of Mike, "church Mike", "Dr. Mike", "funny Mike", "yard work Mike", "serious Mike", "singing Mike", but I REALLY love "VACATION MIKE". Three weeks out of the year Mike gets work off and becomes VACATION MIKE. A week with no responsibilities, no appointments, no patients; he's completely off the hook. Mike totally lets loose and relaxes. I look forward to his weeks off and count down until they arrive.
One of his weeks off was a couple of weeks ago and it was pure bliss.
The week off included heading down to St. George for a few days, staying up late and watching movies (of course staying up late means 11:00 p.m.) working in the yard, playing ladder ball (our new favorite game), going out to eat, just hanging out.
I have to say the best part of the week was seeing Mike spend quality time with Charlotte. He's so darling with her and she absolutely adores him.

Can't wait for the next week off, hopefully in November.

sounds like pure bliss. seriously. there is nothing better than seeing daddy head over heals for his little girl - and it will only get worse. mike is such a good dad. love it.
and, i wanted to reply to your last post but i had no idea where to start - this is like an all night converstation for me. i'm still trying to figure our who "i" am and "we" are post baby (babies).
oh wow so fun! don't you wish no one had to work . . .oh well we have to do what we have to do! lets go on a walk soon!
Oh I am so glad you get some serious family time in. Charlotte looks like she is heaven with her pops- too cute.
Too cute! So happy you guys get those weeks together. I feel so lucky that Nick & I are both off in the summer...it was a blessing last year and I am sure this year will be even better. Such important time...glad you had a blast! Sounds great :)

So cute! I love that she is just so little and cuddly. It's crazy how big Jordan has gotten. It's crazy that it's been three years already. I'm so excited for a little roly poly baby to hold and rock and love. Isn't it fun to see your hubby as a dad? I love seeing how great Chad is with Jordan. It's awesome.
What happened to her - she is getting too big too fast! Everytime you post pics of Charlotte she looks like a new baby. She is so cute, and I'm soooo glad that Mike has been home. I bet you just revel in that time together! I wanna come up just to hear her laugh cuz those pictures are so adorable of her laughing.

I prefer singing Mike to all the other fabulous Mikes. I still have my birthday song on my cell phone.
Terry and I celebrate our 12th anniversary next week. Think Mike could pen a song for it???
