Start watching for teeth. Maddy's worst nights were always followed by a tooth within the next few days. She might not be sprouting one yet, but they're under there!
ha, welcome to parenting. just as soon as you think you've got something down, something changes. it's the ultimate learning experience for patience and dedication.
well, I still think you are a fabulous darling mom and I still think she is an adorable baby.
I'm laughing inside too, bc when henry was 3 months, i remember telling someone that he was sleeping through the night and the very next week he started waking up twice like clockwork!!
Hate to say it, but fastforward 18 months and they'll still wake up occasionally (i.e. when they're sick, molars coming in, etc)...
I've just concluded that with parenthood we've surrendered a continual or consistent good night's rest. But better nights do come, so take heart. you're doing great!! and Char-baby is too.
Bummer!!!! It's so hard because they grow so fast and when it seems like they're predictable they change on you! I have the ultimate jinxing story to tell you...gonna go e-mail you!
Andrew goes through these phases too - he'll be sleeping awesome (12 hours!) and then all of a sudden won't go to sleep, wakes up randomly...it's hard. It's been teeth mostly (lately) but sometimes I just don't know. Maybe he thinks there is a party he's missing out on with Nick and I. Such a little booger. Love them though :)
Sounds like Charlotte is just reminding you who is in charge! Just when you think you've conquered something they go ahead and prove you wrong. But dang, she is so adorable! Love those pics of her smiling. It was so good to see you guys the other day - I'll call you soon!
